PRICE OF OIL For some reason when you clicked on the link, you go to a page which says: "Account Suspended". So, i am leaving this original listing up and have changed the link direction to oil-price.net. Maybe the original website will be put back up someday. I always check this simple site out daily to see where the price of oil is at, but i also realize this may not be very accurate as i think there are several oil price indicators, for example "Brent Crude" (oil from the north sea) and i do not know which indicator this site represents. Maybe it's US oil, not sure.

USGS LATEST EARTHQUAKES I guess this is the best site to visit for the latest and best information on the latest earthquakes in the US and worldwide.
►This web site is provided by the United States Geological Survey's (USGS) Earthquake Hazards Program as part of our effort to reduce earthquake hazard in the United States. We are part of the USGS Geologic Discipline
and are the USGS component of the congressionally established, multi-agency National Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program (NEHRP). The USGS participates in the NEHRP with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and the National Science Foundation (NSF). In the 2004 reauthorization of NEHRP by Congress, NIST has been given the lead role to plan and coordinate this national effort to mitigate earthquake losses by developing and applying earth science data and assessments essential for land-use planning, engineering design, and emergency preparedness decisions. Earthquakes pose significant risk to 75 million Americans in 39 States. The USGS is the only Federal agency with responsibility for recording and reporting earthquake activity nationwide. Citizens, emergency responders, and engineers rely on the USGS for accurate and timely information on where an earthquake occurred, how much the ground shook in different locations, and what the likelihood is of future significant ground shaking. The USGS estimates that several million earthquakes occur in the world each year, but many go undetected because they occur in remote areas or have very small magnitudes. The USGS now locates about 50 earthquakes each day; 20,000 a year.◄
DRUDGE REPORT Some people used to say the Drudge Report represented a very conservative view of the world and i never ever got that impression from the website or Matt Drudge. The only impression i got from the Drudge Report was that he was including news material on the website that the "Sanitized" main stream media leaves out of their broadcasts or publications. I like looking at the Drudge Report more than looking at the television news. Anyway, i think the Drudge Report is a good source of catastrophic news events when they occur, he's not perfect, and i wished he would report earthquakes a little quicker than he does, but anyway it's still a pretty good site which i visit about 3 or 4 times a day to see what the latest disaster is . . .
►From the intermarkets.net website: The Drudge Report is published by Matt Drudge, who established himself as an early pioneer on the Web, covering news and events that the mainstream media ignores. He continues to deliver lively and provocative content to millions of people every day. The Drudge Report is a primary source of breaking news for the public as well as key media, political and opinion leaders.◄
